Committed to Quality Care
Natchez Trace Youth Academy is committed to providing young boys with high-quality care and effective treatment for their emotional, mental and behavioral health issues. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an internationally-recognized nonprofit health and human services accreditor that surveys hundreds of hospitals and residential treatment facilities to ensure they’re consistently meeting high standards of care for their patient population. Our CARF accreditation is a testament to our dedication to providing and maintaining high-quality programming for our patients year over year. In addition to our CARF accreditation, Natchez Trace is licensed for residential treatment of children and youth by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities. We’re also licensed by the Tennessee Department of Children Services as a Child Placing Agency (Foster Care), and by the Tennessee State Department of Education as a Category I School. As a juvenile facility, we are also PREA compliant and are dedicated to the safety of our residents.
