Our Wilderness Setting
Natchez Trace Youth Academy, located in Waverly, Tennessee, is a 115-bed CARF-accredited facility that treats young men, ages 10-17, who are struggling with behavioral and mental health issues. These young men may be court-ordered youth, aggressive youth, dependent and neglected youth, and youth who may not have been successful in other residential programs. Our facility and our wooded setting create a secure, therapeutic environment for students to gain a new outlook on their lives, learn how to manage their triggers, and start blazing their trails for success. With a campus that includes an Alpine Tower for recreational therapy, athletic facilities, and Native American cultural spaces such as a Sweat Lodge, we’ve created a welcoming space for our students to continue to grow, learn and improve.
