Treatment for Mental Health Issues
The Psychiatric Treatment Program at Natchez Trace helps adolescent males with significant histories of behavioral issues and diagnosed mental health disorders. As a licensed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), Natchez Trace offers comprehensive treatment for young men that come to us needing structured care. The longer-term program provides highly specialized treatment for children experiencing severe forms of emotional distress and mental illness.
Patients are usually exhibiting, troubling behaviors that require a more secure and structured form of care, treatment, and therapy. Some of these behaviors may include severe mood disorders like depression or bipolar disorder, increasingly aggressive behavior/violence at home or in school, issues with social isolation, or substance abuse issues. Our program provides an intensive intervention to help get them back on track. We help our young patients build self-worth, a more profound sense of trust in themselves and others, and a stronger desire to blaze their own trail for success.
